Jesse Garza
Lead Instructor - 5th Dan
Jesse began training in 2005 and received his 1st Dan in 2010. Jesse began his martial arts journey at the age of 32 and believes that it is never too late to transform your life. Jesse is an advocate for change and believes that the tenets and discipline of Taekwondo are not only transformative physically and mentally, but also spiritually. Jesse has taken the disciplines and tenets of Taekwondo into his everyday life and achieve what many would consider impossible. When Jesse is not teaching TKD, Jesse serves as a director for a world-wide non-profit and works as a public defense.
PAYTON GARZA
Instructor - 1ST DAN
Payton Garza tested for her 1st Dan in November of 2025. Payton actively competes in local tournaments and in the Texas Karate League in the DFW area and is the 2024 Eagle Award Winner in the Advanced Women's Division ages 18-34. Payton's patience is beyond reproach and she especially enjoys teaching brand new White Belts. One could say Payton is the reason we are all “here” on this journey.
ASSISTANT Instructor - 4th brown BELT
KADY CLARK
Kady Clark is a 4th Brown Belt and competes in local tournaments as well as the Texas Karate League in the DFW area. She will be presented with the 2025 Eagle Award in February of 2026. Kady especially enjoys working with Gold Belts and helping them perfect their self-defense. Kady is also our Digital Marketing Manager as she oversees GBBA's online presence across various digital channels, including websites & social media platforms.
NADIA GARZA-COLLINS
LITTLE DRAGONS INSTRUCTOR - 4th brown BELT
Nadia Garza-Collins is a 4th Brown Belt and actively competes in local tournaments such as the Texas Karate League in the DFW area. She is the 2024 Eagle Award Winner in the Intermediate Women's Division Ages 18-34. She is also the Little Dragons Coach for our 4 to 6 year olds that learn our kicking and punching way of life as well as our Taekwondo tenets every Saturday from 12:15p - 12:45p at the SW Y. Additionally, when she is not training, she is pushing the boundaries in other ways; as a nurse of 10 years, she recently just finished her BSN and is pursuing her certifications in wound care.
